Albedo One
Albedo One is Ireland's
longest-running and foremost magazine of the Fantastic. Since 1993, we
have published stories by both Irish and international authors which
push at the boundaries of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.
Albedo One is the primary source to keep up with Irish speculative writing. At least one of our stories per issue tends to be by an Irish speculative writer, and we've published stories by such authors as Nigel Quinlan, Anne McCaffrey, Ian McDonald, Dermot Ryan, David Murphy, John Kenny and Robert Neilson.
From international authors, we've published fiction by Brian Stableford, Norman Spinrad, Ian Watson, Colin Greenland, Gill Alderman, Hugh Cook, Jeff VanderMeer, Esther M. Friesner, Patricia Anthony, Robert Reed and Liz Williams.
Albedo One also features interviews with the most interesting names in the field, reviews and comment.
Winner of European Science Fiction Society Best Magazine Award 1997, and Best Publisher 1997 and 1999. Longlisted for the Hugo Award 2006.

Aeon Award 2010 Launched!
Jan 1 - Albedo One is proud to announce the launch of the Fifth International Aeon Award for Short Fiction, 2010. The goals of the Aeon Award are to promote writers and the writing of speculative fiction, be it science fiction, fantasy, horror or anything unclassifiable or in-between.
New Issue of Albedo One Released
The latest issue of Albedo One is now available from all good bookshops or directly from us at: Albedo One Magazine Featured in this issue is fiction by Robert Reed, D. T. Neal, Gareth Stack, Richard Alan Scott, Sara Joan Berniker, Gustavo Bondoni and T D Edge, an in-depth interview with Greg Egan and reviews from Juliet E. McKenna and David Conyers.
