Big Smoke members are experienced creative writing teachers and practising writers bringing these twin skills to students and participants of all ages and levels of experience.

Our autumn term starts in September and we have some amazing courses available.
In addition to the Writer’s First Steps (Beginners and Beyond Beginners) we will also be offering our popular specialist courses such as Novel in Progress and The Poetry Workshop.
We are also very proud to announce new courses with guest teachers such as The Fiction Workshop with Colm Liddy and Screenwriting with Mary Kate O’Flanagan.
Keep an eye out for our new schedule in mid-July... we’ll send out a little reminder when courses are ready for booking.
